There's a bug with Quick Find in the sidebar that seems to be related to this problem in the beta version: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/ndsebetaforum.nsf/topicThread.xsp?action=openDocument&documentId=48583EEAA299DB1485257B13003EEC05

To reproduce:

1. Open a sidebar widget that contains a view of a Notes database
2. In the Notes main window open a document, i.e. a mail or something from any other database
3. Click into the sidebar widget
4. Try to jump to a document in the widget just by typing. The Quick Find dialog opens
5. Problem #1: The "Containing" text box in the Quick Find dialog immediately loses focus after the first character. Focus seems to got to the "Find in" dropdown.
6. Problem #2: You can click into the text box and enter your search word but the "Find" button remains inactive.
7. Problem #3: Hitting the Enter key closes the dialog but does nothing in the widget's view.

This sometimes doesn't happen when there's a view opened in the main window.
