Hello Xperts,

Need your input here.

I am trying to find a way so that when a particular incoming email comes in, I want to move it directly to Trash.

I was looking at the Rule but it appears I can't do that.    Thanx in advance..

Use the option "Delete (don't accept message)" to move to the Trash

While there is not an option under Mail Rules to move to folder Trash, what you can use is "Delete (don't accept message). "  You can set the criteria by sender, subject and/or a string within the body of the message.

Conditions required to manage an incoming email

What are the conditions that you would need to include for a rule to move an incoming message to Trash?

Delete (don't accept message) does not move the incoming

message to the trash.  Rather, it drops from the Domino router.

I am trying to find a way to move a particular incoming message to the Trash.   Thanks agian.

Would having the rule move the message to the Junk folder be sufficient?

I know that items sent to the Junk folder need to be manually purged, but this would remove the message from the Inbox view but allow the message to be restored to the Inbox if needed.

You could open a PMR with IBM to have this raised as an enhancement request.
