Refresh Inbox Automatically not working

We have couple of users who have been upgraded from 8.5.x to 9.0.1FP1 having issue with inbox not being refresh automatically.  Cache.ndk and desktop8.ndk have been deleted.  Also toggled Refresh Inbox automatically as well.

I know this was a known issue back in 8.5.1.  Have any of you run into this issue in 9.01?

Any suggestions....please..

Mail File design?
We have got any other reports on this issue on 901 FP1.  Are the mail file design also upgraded to 901 FP1. Can you check the NewMailSeqNum field in the notes.ini and confirm if the value of this variable changes after a new mail is received?
