Hi,

I have a 9.0.1 server that does not use 3rd party certificate for iNotes and Traveler. We are running on port 80. It has been used for about 6 months and about 50 users are actively using it both Traveler and iNotes.

I am about to install 3rd party https cert, just wondering if all traveler users will need to re-connect their devices?

RE: Traveler New Certificate
That would be ideal (so you could disable port 80) but in the meantime I believe you could do a URL redirection in the Server Doc from the HTTP URL to the HTTPS URL. But be sure to test it.

try and avoid 302 redirects on mobile phones
Dev discourages use of that ssl redirect config when connecting with traveler phones. Mobile devices tend to have more trouble chasing down the 302 redirect than a desktop web browser.
while it could help you in a pinch, you should really should start looking at modifying the traveler external url field in your server doc and reinstalling the profiles on your phones

I think would be better to do it  sooner with only 50 phones as opposed to later when you have even more devices to wrangle.
