New "Bytes" option for view columns containing numbers

I just noticed there's a new option on the Column tab of the properties box when a column contains a number.

Under Number Format, you can now select "Bytes(K/M/G)".

Unfortunately, it doesn't work properly. It displays the amount in KiB, MiB, GiB, but labels it as KB, MB or GB. <http://physics.nist.gov/cuu/Units/binary.html>

Is there any chance we could get this fixed, so I can replace some ugly formula language in my views?

I don't actually mind hugely whether it uses KiB/MiB or KB/MB as long as it labels it correctly.

Well if it's options we're looking for ...

... I could really use the ability to sort a multivalue field a specific way, display it another way, and then show one row per multivalue entry.

The specific situation is a series of user names. Sorted by last name. *But* displayed by first name.
