notes 9 moving of data directory

I have a scenario where we wish to use the old path that was being used by the 853 client ie. C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\LOTUS\Notes\Data instead of C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\IBM\Notes\Data. Can we do it? This is a Multi user install with client 901

Hello Andreas!

It should work fine!

After you installed Notes 9 and when open it for the first time, you should inform the "old" path data when configuration process request the Data path.

If Notes 9 is already installed and in use, you must close Notes, edit NOTES.INI and change the line that points to the current data path.

Yes, this is the same even if it is a Multi-User Installation.
