Search bar for full-text search missing in iNotes interface

User's mail databases are enabled for full-text index.

Configuration Document has Full-text indexing: Enabled

Saw following technote related , but settings are both correct: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21234485.

Has anyone seen this before?  Running Domino 9.0.1FP1.

enabled via inotes preference
once you checked its allowed,
have the user go into their inotes preferences -Basics-> and under
Search
Enable full-text indexing for searching


upon saving the preference this will create the full text index for the user's mail file, and should expose the desired search ui
just tested in FF
