DAOS Moving to different platform

Currently have a Domino server installed on iSeries - but we are moving the server to a Windows platform.  What is the best way to move the server DAOS data?

 

I read that if you move servers you can copy the data in the directory to the new server.   I want to validate that this process is the same if moving platforms.  FTP the data from IBM i to the Windows server in the Domino  Data directory

My suggestion

That would work.  I would just establish daos on the new server and replicate all the databases over and the daos would be rebuilt on the new server.
