Folder Unread Count and Mail Rules

We have couple of users who have issues with folder unread count. The mails are automatically moved to folders by Rules. But the folder unread count does not increase/refresh automatically on these folders. The unread count refreshes properly for the folders where the mails are moved manually. When the move is done by rules, there is an issue.

I have a rule to move messages coming from a specific user to a folder and I see the unread count on that folder correctly.
