I had a bit of trouble installing Traveler on a Ubuntu 64bit server and I thought others may too so here's how to fix it....

Error:

When installing Traveler on a 64 bit linux server you get the following

linux/resource/jre/jre/bin/java: not found

Solution:

Install the 32-bit libraries on the system using sudo apt-get install ia32-libs then re-run the install.

RE: Installing Traveler on Ubuntu 64bit

If I remember correctly, this problem is not new and not Ubuntu - specific. 32-bit shared libraries are prerequisit on any 64-bit linux to support Domino and Traveler.

regards

Robert
