Any chance to install Traveler 64-bit on Linux without 32-bit libaries?

IBM strongly recommends installing Traveler on a 64-bit server (for better performance), I'm wondering why do I need to install the old-fashioned 32-bit libraries as a prerequisite?

It was discussed at a few places, for example here:
http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/ndseforum.nsf/xpTopicThread.xsp?documentId=4370B0C05041A09485257B3A0062B3FF#5AD2E4A3A531DE9F85257B3C003C4603

Unless one installs the 32-bit libraries then Traveler wont install.

Is there any way to install it correctly, using purely 64-bit libraries?

Thanks!

Ltrace

You can trace the library calls with ltrace, so you see the libs compiled with. Did only check with Notes client, but so you see the minimum of needed libs and the bitness.

Maybe, is there any purely 64-bit version of Traveler?

Thank Christoph, I'm wondering, isn't there a purely 64-bit version of Traveler for Linux? Or maybe a 64-bit installer file?

Don't think so

Hi Adam,

i only find one traveler package for each os. 64 bit Domino is a recommendation, but i think there is no 64 package for Traveler available.
