Traveler 9.0.1 IF6 and Android attachments

My Android users are receiving an error when trying to open an attachment. The error says: "Download of FILENAME was halted by an error." The log on the Android refers to an Unexpected exception on a java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal character in query at index [and a random number here] No errors are showing up on the server. This seems to have started since the Domino FP2 and Traveler IF6 patch was applied this week. Does anyone know what is causing it and how to fix it. Thank you in advance.

Opened PMR and fix was available

IBM provided a fix for the Androids. The attachments being unable to download was on those with spaces in the name. If you use Google Play Store to install Traveler, IBM told me that they are hoping by the end of the week that the Traveler App should be updated.

Has anyone gotten the hotfix to install?

I opened a PMR, and rec'd the following Hotfix via email:  901_IF6_20140924_1713_Server.zip

However, when I install the files, the Traveler server won't start - the server console shows "Traveler::AddInMain: Class 'com/lotus/sync/admin/MainTask' not found" and dies....

I've updated the PMR with IBM - but i think that they're in a different time zone so I don't expect a reply until Monday...

Anyone install this hotfix?

Thanks!

Update - New Hotfix Available

There is a new Hotfix available (today) that does install correctly and seems to fix the attachments issue as well as a couple other issues that I was seeing.

Not on Fix Central

I actually received a second Hotfix since my post  - it appears that the attachments issue is resolved as well as a couple other problems, including one with expired certificates.

Hotfixes are not distributed via Fix Central - you'll have to open a PMR with IBM to receive the Hotfix.
