Hi everyone, i have the following situation and need your advice and help:

I need to connect to a Oracle Express 11g server running in a virtual machine (VMWare ESX5) with O.S. SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 SP2 64 bits, i have tried to connect to this Oracle server from other server (Virtual server VMWare ESX5) running the same O.S. in wich i have first installed IBM Lotus Domino 8.5.3 (32 bits), i set everything according to Oracle Procedures for the Instant Client (32 and 64 bits), i ran isql and sqlplus and got connected to the Oracle DB, i ran dctest, selected ODBC, entered the login information and got connected as well, but when i open decsadm.nsf from the Notes Client, and try to create a new connection from the GUI interface in Notes, i get this error:

"Error: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/opt/odbc/oracle/11_2/64bits/libsqora.so.11.1': file not found, Connector 'odbc2', Method -Connect- (105)"

IMPORTANT: The file EXIST!

I checked everything from Environment Variables (PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, ORACLE specific variables), dependencies of this library (using command ldd), permissions, and sill haven't been able to make it work.

Today, i installed and configure a new virtual server from scratch, installed SUSE Enterprise 11 SP2, installed unixODBC from SUSE, configured from scratch Oracle Instant client 11.2 64 bits only, installed IBM Domino 9 server, and i'm worst, because dctest  is giving me the following error when i select any of the options presented in the menu: "Unrecognized response", i tried to create a new connection in the Notes GUI (decsadm.nsf) and i get the same error as in version 8.5.3.

Please help, i'm getting crazy here because i haven't found any information on Internet!!!

Thanks!

Use ODBC drivers provided for IBM domino

Tried all drivers, but the ones that make it work, were the ones IBM provides for Domino servers! now it works!
