Missing "xsp" directory in dojo-1.5.2 / Problem migrating from 8.5.2 to 9 Xpages application

Hello all,

I am currently moving a Xpage application we have from our current 8.5.2 server to our new Domino 9 server.

Once moved I then had some problems such as having to authenticate almost a dozen times, each time the server is asking me to authenticate different parts of xsp, such as:-

  • /xsp/.ibmxspres/dojo-1.8.1/dojo
  • /xsp/.ibmxspres/.mini/dojo/en-us
  • /xsp/.ibmxspres/dojo-1.8.1/dijit

This get me logged in but then various Xpage components such as date fields (with the calender picker) do not function correctly or fail validation until all validation is removed from the design.

I couldn't find a dojo-1.8.1 directory (that the authentication messages quoted in some prompts) however when I look at the path "notesdata/domino/js" on both the old and new server, the old server(8.5) has "dojo-1.1.1", "dojo-1.3.2", "dojo-1.3.3" & "dojo-1.4.3" but the new server (9.0) only has "dojo-1.5.2".  So in the application properties I put in the line "xsp.client.script.dojo.version=1.5.2" in order to get the application to use the available 1.5.2 library present.  This then changes the problem slightly.  Google Chrome then indicates that it cannot find the relevant js library files ("GET https://xxxxxx.com/domjs/dojo-1.5.2/ibm/xsp/widget/layout/xspClientDojo.js 404 (Not Found)").

Looking at the path "notesdata/domino/js/dojo-1.5.2/ibm" I then expect to find an "xsp" directory like on the previous server, however this appears to be missing which matches the Google Chrome console message.

Is there a way to generate the "xsp" folder or somewhere I can download this from?

Of course if I'm completely misunderstanding something please point this out too!

Thanks in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated

Versions for Dojo after 1.5 are supplied as a plugin
All the Dojo versions after 1.5 are delivered as a plugin and are not on the directory of your server.  So, that is normal.
