LS: Unable to find path to server, even after connection is restored

In an Agent, I am opening a remote database with Lotus Script, but sometimes the Workstation internet connection can down for some reason, and the error Unable to find path to server is generated & handled properly.

However, the problem is that even after the connection is restored and confirmed by pressing Ctrl+O, entering the server name and seeing the file list, when the same Agent is run again the script will generate the same error (Unable to find path to server) without even trying to connect again.

It seems that Notes is caching the status of failure for a few minutes, because after a few minutes if the Agent is run it connects successfully.

Is there a way to invalidate this server status caching on the Workstation when the Agent is started?

things to try

Open up other dbs on other servers  in you ls code just to see if that would clear cache.    Do you have local connections docs for this server?    On the location doc the are $save fields perhaps clear (delete) these fields in the code will force the client to re find the server

Clearing $SavedTriedDate worked

Thank you, Barry.

Clearing the values in the Location field ($SavedTriedDate) worked well.
