There seems to be a bug in the PIM Composite application components of Notes whenever it displays a view, where it loses any previous selections whenever you use the quick search/find function.
 

Follow these steps to replicate it:
 

• Open the sent view in the mail file
• Select a couple of documents
• Start typing a name of another recipient, select that recipient
• Look at the number of documents selected in the status bar

Now for the interesting part:
 

• If the view had to scroll far enough to find the document so none of the other selected documents are shown, it will lose all previous selections
• If the view did not scroll or scrolled a small enough distance so that at least one of the selected documents are still displayed on the screen, then it will not lose any of the previous selections, but the status bar will still display only one document selected (the one you selected after the find function).

Has anyone else have come across this issue, and is there some way to prevent the view losing the selections?
