iNotes Error 500

iNotes is setup and working with browsers on all devices along with Traveler on all devices.  I have also setup a couple mail-in databases for "team mail".  This is working fine within the LAN but if using iNotes with any browser, when selecting "open other mail" when choosing the mail-in database this error message occurs:  Error 500 HTTP Webserver:  Illegal Arguments Exception.  Everyone that is supposed to have access to the mail file has editor access so am not sure what setting I'm missing.

When you say working fine within the LAN...
Do you mean it works fine in Notes but not in iNotes or that it works fine in Notes and iNotes when on the LAN but doesn't work in iNotes when not on the LAN? Assuming the former, check the database properties to see if the "Don't allow URL open" option is set.

iNotes error 500

Chad... When on the internal LAN and accessing the mail-in database from the notes client using "open other mail" it works fine.  When accessing the mail-in database using iNotes via a web browser it generates the error.  Using a web browser to launch:  https://server.domain.com plants me in the full desktop with everything functioning properly except the mail-in database.  If I launch:  https://server.domain.com/mail/database.nsf, it opens the mail-in database fine for reading and sending email except the interface it displays needs a lot of work.

I checked the properties of the mail-in database and the properties of the database are:   For Web Access... Javascript is checked but the next four settings are unchecked.  For the bottom 6 selections, disable background agents is unchecked, Allow use of stored forms is checked and the remaining 4 items are unchecked.

Any additional info on the Domino console?
HTTP 500 is a generic server error that has some underlying, application-specific cause. As such, I'd hope there is something in the Domino log that would provide more information.
