Body Field Not Holding Values For Some Users

Hi all,

Got a strange issue here.

A document has several body fields but the first of these called simply 'Body', doesn't retain values for all users.

For example, I add a simple word into the body field, save & close and open again. Word is there.

User does same on same document and word is not retained in Body field when re-opened.

If this body field was corrupted, then I presume it would be failing for all.

Hence, I'm thinking something in user setup/pc perhaps .. ?

I have deleted cache.ndk for one affected user but that has made no difference.

Has anyone out there experienced such odd behaviour . ?

And does anyone have any thoughts as to what I could try to alleviate the problem . ?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Andy

Compact the Workspace

For this particular affected user, I just compacted the workspace and tried to attach again.

All is well now.

But then same compaction didn't help for another user.

As a start, is there a way to compact the workspace each time Notes is launched . ?

We delete the cache.ndk file each day upon PC startup as we found the cache file getting quite large.
