Every once in a while in one DB I support I'll come across a case like the one below. Every time I open it, the attachment gets a little more stretched out. Scrolling it out of the window and back does not affect it. If I detach, save, reattach, and save again, then it looks normal. It's nothing in the text properties. Any idea what causes this? It happens a small percentage of the time, and as you see in the example below it's just one attachment in that RT field, not all of them. Thanks!

Hi Blake,

I haven't seen anything like that reported before.

Is the issue occurring in a custom database or one of the standard Notes databases?

Thanks,

Mark

I remember something like this showing up with table settings ...

... I don't remember something specific to images. But I do remember that the table setting issue was caused by a legacy margin setting, which slowly expanded the table.

I'm guessing it could be a paragraph setting from an earlier version of Notes, that isn't being interpreted "well" by the later version.

seeing same thing

Blake,  Have you had any luck resolving or isolating this?

I am seeing the same thing.  I have been able to re-create the problem, when I copy and paste the attachment from one location to another and then delete some text above (closer to the top of the document) than the rich text field. Copied icons stretch.  However, an icon created using File - Attach, do not seem to stretch.

The copied icons stretch if I use Ctrl+s to save the document or if I use the Save button containing @Command([FileSave]).  Do you think it has to do with refreshing the screen or document?  Must rich text fields be saved with a lotus script Doc.Save or UIdoc.Save?

You've figured it out!
I tried an experiment in a field with File/Attach for one file and another pasted in from a note.

I don't know if it's something related to the image that is captured rather than generated or something else.

But at least I know what causes that to appear occasionally.
