cannot change number of invitees in a meeting

Hi there,

One of our users recently reported a problem.

She creates a meeting and enters some invitees, e.g. 3 invitees (i.e. 4 participants in the meeting including her)

She clicks on "Find Rooms" and in the field "Number of invitees" she changes the number, e.g. from 4 to 6

She clicks on OK.

If she clicks on Find Rooms again it shows that the number of participants is 4, not 6.

It does not take the number that she entered but it recalculates the number of invitees...

Is it normal or is it a bug?

And how can we correct it?

Any suggestions/solutions would be most welcome.

Thanks for the alerting us to this.
This is working as designed.   The default value for the "Number of attendees" field in the Find Rooms dialog is indeed calculated based on the number of people being invited to the meeting (including the chair)

I've written an enhancement request for this issue.    SPR number is FPAI9Q3LAR

Since you have written an enhancement request, I have one more comment on this topic.

In previous versions of the rooms and reservations database, when the owner opened a reservation request to accept/decline, she could see the number of invitees.

In the latest version, this information is no longer visible.

I checked the documents and saw that the field "Capacity" had the info but was not visible. I added a computed text on the form to display this info for the room owner.

This solved the issue but there may be other users who have the same need...
