Erroneous Email Addresses Being Added to Email

Hi,

We have an intermittent issue here whereby when a person is selected from a secondary Domino Directory, the person's email is different to address stored. Only happens now and then so is quite frustrating.

For example....

Our internal email address is FName.Sname@ourcompany,com

External person in secondary DD is FName.Sname@theircompany.com

But email pulled into memo from secondary DD is Fname_SName@ourcompany.com

So name is split with underscore and it puts our company name in.

All very strange.

Has anyone experienced similar behaviour at all before . ?

Wondered if there was something we could try before I escalate to IBM support in due course.

Many thanks for any advice.

Regards

Andy

Erroneous Email Addresses Being Added to Email

This generally occurs in case a wrong entry of address has got added in to the recent contacts of local address book of user.
Removal of this entry from local address book will rectify this issue.

Recent Contacts Empty ...

Nothing in recent contacts.

A colleague thought this was an issue a good while back and that it had been fixed in V9. It happened intermittently a long time before I arrived here.

We are using V9.0.1.
