Junk Mail

Hey everyone,

 

I can't find the answer I'm looking for, I need to know how often junk mail is deleted automatically? Am I right in think that this can not be deleted automatically?

Auto Delete Junk Mail

1. In your mail file, highlight the message that will be used as the model for the QuickRule.

2. Choose Actions - Tools - "Create QuickRule from selected document." Note that the Conditions fields are completed with the appropriate values from the selected message. For example, the "Sender" field contains the name of the message sender.

3. Complete the "Create QuickRules from Selected Document" as follows:

 

Option Action
For incoming messages that match Choose whether you want to base your QuickRule on some or all of the selected conditions.
Conditions To apply a condition to the QuickRule, select the condition.

For each condition, specify the state of the condition (such as "contains" or "is"). For example, if you want the QuickRule to act on any message that is similar to the subject line of the current message, you would select "contains."

Perform the following action Specify the action for the QuickRule to perform on the spam mail:
  • "Move to folder" allows you to specify a mail folder to which the QuickRule can filter the message.
  • "Change importance" enables the QuickRule to change the message's urgency level.
  • "Delete" deletes all messages filtered by this QuickRule.

4. Click OK. This generates the QuickRule and stores it in the Rules folder. The new rule than can be opened, viewed and edited as a regular mail Rule.
