Java appendDocLink with version 9

rtitem.appendDocLink(requestDoc);

In an agent containing an appended link to the body of an email has been working for 6 years.  The link no longer shows up in the email when version 9 was installed on the server that the agent was running on.

Results of additional testing

Changing to   rtitem.appendDocLink(aDoc , "text")  run on the server results in the link showing up in the email.  (Notes and Exchange)

This change run on a client results in the link being present on a Notes Client Mail Box but not if forwarded to an Exchange mail box

The original rtitem.appendDocLink(aDoc) run on a server or a client fails to put the link into the email.
