Hello

Does anyone have experience about using Lotus Traveler 9 with sony xperia z? We have 2 users with Sony xperia z, one on Traveler 8.5.3.3 server and one trying to use it withs Traveler version 9. It looks like the one using traveler 8.5.3.3 is working ok, but every time other user starts synchronizing traveler from 9 server the device locks down so he can only use emergency number and device cannot be unlocked even by its vendor, it has to be sent to maintenance where they propably change something to make it work again.

From traveler 9 server, the device looks to be ok, no errors and security policy is compliant etc.. We have settings to demand device password and device has to be approved. These settings are identical on both servers. Except ofcource the password type which is unrestricted on Traveler 9 server to allow pattern also. We also have Prohibit devices incapable of security enablement tapped on both servers, but shouldn't this only prevent devices that cannot be wiped connecting on server, not in any way lock down actual device?

This all sounds so odd and since I cannot try this myself I'm hoping you will let me know if you have or do not have similar experience with this device..

Best Regards: Merja
