According to Mat Newman beautiful demo here: http://www.matnewman.com/Webs/personal/matblog.nsf/dx/easily-create-any-record-in-any-ibm-notes-lotus-notes-database?opendocument  you can open any form in notes in creation mode, then right click on the forms title, add to bookmarks-extended bookmarks-Create.  Then you can use the bookmark as a shortcut to create this form (document) type. Very handy for the quick phone message or support ticket.

There is a smarticon on top of your screen, that should learn the content of the create bookmarks folder. In windows, it does not learn immediately, but after  a restart, it shows the list of all create bookmarks.

On OS X Mountain Lion, a click on the smarticon  does exactly nothing. (it's in the german client).

We could assume, the problem is the german client, looking for a view/folder in bookmarks.nsf that does not exist? Which one could that be?

Or is it just a bug? And why does it not show up on windows immediately, when Mat's Video shows, that in ubuntu, it does?

Thanks
