Hi,

We have upgraded to 9.0.1 and started getting report that the user getting "HTTP Web Server: IBM Notes Exception - Invalid arguments" after changing password. The URL shows "https://inotes.mydomain.com/names.nsf?ChangePassword"

- This is not happening to everyone, the company has change password policy every 14 days. I am finding every 10 users, 1 having this issue.
- the password changed. once the user close IE and re-open, they are able to login user the new password.

Anyone experiencing this issue and like to share some light?

Is this when using IBM Notes Client (desktop client) or IBM iNotes (web client)?
Please let us know.
Also, if this is Notes Client, please generate an NSD, zip it and attach as a response or send me the NSD.

Error in Web Browser

Hi Raj, no, this is not using notes client.

I have tried this in different web browser IE, FF and Chrome. The same, but not always which I found really annoying.

post data / redirectto
my suspicion is there's an issue with the POST
htthr thread logs can shed some insight but they can get very verbose, so you wouldn't want enabled for extended periods of time
enable, reproduce error, disable
good news is they are dyanmic
tell http debug thread all
tell http debug thread off

check that in comparison to console log at that time, it may leave some bread crumbs to follow
other idea off top my head is it may end up being related to redirectto values

by any chance are you running with DominoDisableRedirectTo= in your notes.ini?

In the past I've seen conflicts with session auth and that ini
