Issues with IMSMO

We do not have our IMSMO server in the cluster as we are having issues with the traveler task shutting down due to not being enabled across the cluster. Can the IMSMO server be in the main mail cluster?

Regardless of that I have set up a connection document from one mail server within the cluster to goto the IMSMO server but the databases just aren't replicating? IMSMO server has full access to the database. The connection document should be fine but is there something stopping the databases from replicating?

IMSMO is designed to run on the mail servers
IMSA (the server component of IMSMO) is designed to be installed and run on the user's mail server. If it is clustered, the clustering works more like Traveler High Availability where DB2 must be aware and configured for that. See Configure High Availability mode (optional).

To break it down:
  1. Create replicas of the mail files on the clustered server as you would with any other database, mail or otherwise. This step has nothing to do with IMSMO/IMSA, it's just normal Notes/Domino replication.
  2. Make sure IMSA is installed on the primary mail server that matches the home server in the person doc of the user
  3. If you want to leverage clustering, following the additional steps in Configure High Availability mode (optional).

Quick question

We have created a new server with IMSA installed, can this be clustered with the rest of the estate that doesn't have this installed?

Issues with IMSMO

I am getting same issue.

IMSA server trying to access mail file in user home mail server which is our primary server, but IMSA server is installed in secondary server.

I am afraid if i install IMSA server in primary server it might impact exisitng configuration which notes users are using it.
