The installation instructions for installing interim fixes for Notes Traveler are missing an important step; you must end the Domino server hosting the Traveler service before running the RSTLICPGM command.

Link to the latest update, Interim Fix 6:

http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/dominowiki.nsf/dx/IBM_Notes_Traveler_9.0.1_IF6

Under "Installation on IBM i", instructions to end the Domino server should be added between steps 9 and 10:

8. The save file on your system now contains the IBM Notes Traveler Server software.
9. Sign on to the IBM i system with a user profile that has *ALLOBJ and *SECADM special authorities.

====> 9.1 End the Domino server hosting the TRAVELER task (ENDDOMSVR servername *CNTRLD)
10. From the IBM i command line, use the RSTLICPGM command to install from the save file you created, this example uses the save file MYLIB/QNTSINSTF.

RSTLICPGM LICPGM(5733LD9) DEV(*SAVF) LNG(2924) OPTION(21) SAVF(MYLIB/QNTSINSTF)

If you fail to end the Domino server, the error "Objects for product 5733LD9 option 21 release *FIRST not restored" will be generated.
