I want to install Open Social on a Domino 9.0.1. I have tried to install and uninstall a lot of times without success

Do I need to install IHS Component?

Which installation order?

1) Domino 9.0.1

2) Open Social 9.0.1

3) Domino 9.0.1 FP1

4) Open Social 9.0.1 FP1

Is this the correct order?

Please use the OpenSocial Cook Book as a resource
Hello Anders,

Yes, that is the correct order.  The IBM Notes client must also be installed with the "OpenSocial Component" checked, which is checked by default.  And then the Domino server must be configured for Shindig and appropriate policies pushed down to the client.  You will not be able to render an OpenSocial gadget or Embedded Experience without this configuration.  Please read the OpenSocial cook book for details and context on the configuration.

If it still fails to work, then please let us know what errors you are seeing.  Most problems we see in this area are due to config issues, not installation issues.

Cheers,

Simon
