AdminP rename issue

We have a problem with rename of two users.

For example Jane Smith/Company wants to be renamed to Jane Smithson/Company.

When we use Domino Administrator 9.0.1FP2 to rename a user, only the "person card" is renamed and updated, there is no job or anything that show up in the admin4.nsf that gives any information that AdminP is doing anything.

Neither is anything changed on the mail file (acl and mail file owner) or any groups. We have waited several days without any action.

We put in DEBUG_ADMINP_REQUEST_PROCESSING=2 and restarted AdminP and then run several "tell adminp p all", and also replicated to admin server and run same commands there. Still no trace from our rename.

Any help on how to debug this?

No special characters in these users names

Hi Mark and thanks for the reply.

There is no special characters in these users name. The customer have chosen since long time ago to use only english letters in names (even though it is an international company).

Name Change

Have you looked in the Admin4.nsf under the "Request" section, "All Requests by Name" and found the users name "Jane Smith" to see if there are any actions listed under that name.  Also, oncel the request is made by the Administrator, the user must log in wit a Valid ID file to ensure that the process will progress.  I have seen times where the users ID file does not match the uers name perfectly, and this can create problems
