Tools>Widgets

When I go to Tools > Widgets > Nothing expands?

I have watched the videos and want to have a play about but I am getting no options?

Preferences/Policies
The creation actions can be hidden for two reasons:

1. The widgets UI is not enabled. Check to see if the UI is enabled by going to File/Preferences and choosing Widgets.


2. You could have a policy (or settings in plugin_customization.ini) that disables your ability to create widgets.
If you are policies, check the Desktop Settings 'Widgets' tab. The setting below will allow you to create all widget types.

The default settings will not allow you to create any widget type:
