Hello,

I will update from mailtemplate 8.0.2 to 9.0.1. In 8.0.2 we have modified $Inbox that it will display from entries as "Lastname, Firstname", not "Firstname Lastname". Now sinc 8.5.3 this is a biuld in feature but default is still "Firstname Lastname". I changed default value in CalenderProfile of SOrtName field to "2" and I changed script lib MiscMailCS in NameSortManagement" to:

Call calProfile.replaceitemvalue("SortName", "2")
Call calProfile.replaceitemvalue("CurrentSortNameValue", "2")

But still we have the issue that after replacing design when first mail is opened it displays "Firstname Lastname" in $Inbox. After closing and reopening mail db it displays "Lastname, Firstname" which is right for us.

Any ideas what else has to be changed ?

Why modify the template at all?
Perhaps I'm missing something, you can just change your preference:

Cannot tell 15000 User to change this
We cannot tell 15000 Users to change this ..... it must have the same look & feel like it was with the 8.0.2 mail template with the modified column formula

Suggestion

On a mail file that is set wrong look at the profile doc using notespeek or a lotusscript agent and copy down the values. The set the sort order thru the ui and look again at the profile doc and see what changed.   My guess is that you missed a field in your script lib.   You realize that rather then changing the script lib you can write an agent to scan and change all the mail file profile doc.
