We have Lotus Domino Mail Server 8.5.3 FP6 on Windows 2008 R2, 64bit When Client updates his notes password by going to 

• File > Security > User Security > Change User Password 

& restart lotus notes client, the lotus notes password changes successfully, BUT it does not updates the user WEB MAIL login password. (We also have sametime server which uses web-mail password to allow login via sametime client, its not using new password as well, user still using old password to login webmail/sametime)

In Server Security Settings policy we have "Update Internet Password When Notes Client Password Changes" but still webmail password in not updating.

To sort this temporary, we have to manually change password in  Person Document  > "Internet Password" . But we cannot do this for every user.
