Hello everyone,

I would like to install the new OS Mavericks, but I don't know if Notes 9.0 Mac edition is supported.

Someone has tried to do it?

Thanks in advance.

9.0 is not supported in Mavericks.

ND9 is only supported* in OSX 10.7 or 10.8.

I do know that 9.0.1 has Maverick fixes, but I don't have any official details on if it will be supported or not (or I'd point you to do that).

* Supported doesn't automatically mean support will not address the issue if you open a PMR. If you can reproduce the same issue on a supported platform, then it would be investigated further.

Notes 9 in Mavericks

I'm using it right now - no issues that I can see yet (other than ones that existed under Mountain Lion such as slow screen refresh rates).

IBM Notes 9.0 Uninstaller will crash on Mavericks...
I would highly recommend waiting for IBM Notes 9.0.1 before upgrading to Mavericks.  9.0.1 will not officially support Mavericks until some time after it ships, but 9.0.1 gold will include several Mavericks specific fixes, including the Uninstaller, which can be used to uninstall both 9.0.1 and 9.0 clients.

What about Lotus Notes 8.5.3 with OS X Mavericks?

Have seen some chat about Lotus Notes 9, but the best my employer will allow is Lotus Notes 8.5.3.  So can anyone advise me what to do?  Can I update to Mavericks running 8.5.3?

Many thanks

Andrew
