Toolbar icons not Bookmark icons

Thanks Melissa but I am talking Toolbar icons and not Bookmark icons.

A workaround
A workaround you could have a try.
First launch standard client in basic mode, adjust toolbar icon size to Large, close the client and restart it in standard mode, the toolbar icon will be large icon automatically.
