ADsync and Active Directory Version

Hi,

Active Directory Servers will be upgrade from 2008 r2 to 2016.

There is a machine which uses adsync to push new users and group created on Active Directory to Domino Directory.

Should I worry about the upgrade, or it will be transparent for adsync?
