One domino server hosts 2 separate domains?

Can a single Domino server host separate domains?  I know a domain can have aliases, so domain1 and domain2 can be delivered to all users, but what if domain 3 is separate?

For example, if there are 5 users and 3 should get emails from domain1 and alias domain2, but 2 users belong to domain3 and shouldn't get mail from the other two domains (and vice-versa, the 3 users shouldn't get email from domain3).

Is this just a matter of setting up 2 Global Domain Documents?  One for domain1/domain2 and another for domain3?  Then making sure the internet address fields are set up properly in the Person Documents?

Can domino support separate domains on the same server?

Multiple domains

If you are referring to internet domains the answer is yes.

If you mean Notes domains it can only route email to the Notes domain that the server is listed as being in.

Other Notes domains would need to reside on separate server (partition) to receive emails.

Internet domains

Yes, sorry, I should have been specific when referring to internet domains.

Would the different internet domains be specified through two different Global Domain documents then?
