Hi Guys,

I have an end-user client who has a problem doing a drag & drop in his Notes client.

If he tries to drag & drop a file to his email it's sort a like it's not being permitted, the only thing happens is shown in the attached screenshot.

Hoping for your immediate help on this issue.

Thank you in advance.

Please try copy-paste that file into your email.

Where is he trying to drop the file?
The only permitted drop target for a file being attached to a memo is the memo's Rich Text field (aka. Body field). Is your user trying to drop the file there? See screenshot below.

Hi Jochen Sack,

I actually connected to the user via remote and i actually did the drag & drop myself, and yes, i'm dragging the file to the body field but it doesn't work at all.

Hi Amit Bora,

Yes the copy & paste works, but the user wants to do the drag & drop option of attaching a file.

Can you post your findings?
Ironically, I'm now having the same issue on my new Laptop running Notes 9.01 (no fixpack) on Win8.1/64. How did you resolve it?
