BES 5.0.4 MR6 and Domino 9.0.1

we have planned a Domino Upgrade from 8.5.3 to 9.0.1 in the maildomain in which a BES 5.0.4 MR6 Server with Domino 8.5.3 placed as server too.

How should we best ?

- We continue to run the server in version 8.5.3  or

- we upgrade the Domino on the BES Server to 9.0.1 FP4 ?
