User's sent messages not getting saved

I have a user who uses the LN 9.0,1 Basic client. Up until August 21th, everything worked fine and his sent messages were being saved. But after that, they just stopped.

i don't think he was over quota, and he definitely isn't now.

But it still is not saving his sent messages.

He's modified the preferences to say "ask me" from "always".  It's asking but it's still not saving.

I have one other user who has had this issue for years and has just automatically bcc's himself on his emails.

you can Check the Activity Log

Hi Pam,

Here some ideas:

you can Check the  Activity Log to check what happened.

One way to tell if the message was save on send is by looking for the
following field in the destination mail message.

$KeepSent is field stored in a message.

If person A sends an email to person B with "Save Sent Mails -Always"
option, person B's received mail will have this field present in the
document properties.

If person A sends an email to person B with "Save Sent Mails -Never"
option, person B's received mail will NOT have this field present in th
document properties.

But,
If person A sends an email to person B with "Save Sent Mails -Ask Me"
option, person B's received mail will still have this field present in
the document properties.

Thank you

Susana
