Subject: Why opening a document in a local replica of this database tries to connect to my home server?
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Announcement
Technical Area: Documentation
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: Beta 2
Reproducible: Always

I am using a local replica of this database, like I do for the Notes/Domino 6,7 Forum.

But, just when I try to open a document from this database, any topic or response, If my home server is not available Notes hangs trying to find my home server.
I can cancel the "request" with ctrl+break, then the document opens.

This does not happen with the other local replicas.

(Note that the home server for this ID is not always available because it is my test environment.)

Is the design for this database different from the Notes/Domino 6/7 ?
