Subject: Is Auto-submitted some special string in Notes
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: Functionality
Platform: Windows Vista client
Release: Notes and Domino 8 - GOLD
Reproducible: Always

I am trying to test if a mail message is an Out-of-Office message with this formula:

a:=@If(@IsAvailable(Auto-submitted);"true";"false");
@Prompt([Ok];"Test";a);
SELECT @All

However, the outcome is always TRUE even if the field Auto-submitted is not available. What can be causing this? B.t.w. this also happens in Notes 7.
