Good, changed it for now...much better. Have some additional worries now.
Changed color to black, and red for unread. That works, good.
Now I am worried about the future of developing in Notes, and deploying Notes applications.
The whole design of a database was inside of the database, replacing the design was automatically deploying the updated applications to everybody that was using it on the server, or a replication would propagate the changes to all replicas.
Now I start having the issue of distributing files to Notes workstations, and this may have to be synchronized with template changes. not good.
For Applications that run on the server, that is mostly OK, but...
If I use local replicas... and I love to use local replicas on notebooks that travel around...
And, the notes.css file is on the Notes client install, even if I am using a replica on a server.
Some issues probably with deploying updates for this applications.
For Notes 8 mail it is OK since everybody will follow the normal upgrade road,
servers first, then clients, then desing upgrade to the new templates.
Am I making things more complicated then they are?
