New Notes and Domino 8.5 Developer Course

The Learning Continuum Company, Ltd. (TLCC) has released two new Notes and Domino 8.5 courses. Both courses are taken using the Domino Designer 8.5 client. Students go at their own pace and get help from TLCC's expert instructors via an integrated course discussion database. Notes Domino 8.5 Application Development 1 is for new developers. This course covers the basics of Notes and Domino development. Students build a customer contact database from the ground up. This course will prepare the student for the certification exam to become an IBM Certified Associate Application Developer - Lotus Notes and Domino 8.5.

JavaScript in Notes Domino 8.5 covers the use of JavaScript for both Domino web applications as well as for the Notes client. This course covers the JavaScript programming language using the familiar Domino Designer 8.5 environment. Real-world techniques for validation and improving the user experience are covered, including the use of JSON and AJAX technologies. JavaScript is the key programming language for XPages and this course is excellent preparation before starting with XPages training.
