Some possible causes:
- the phone's connection to the network isn't good,
- the server is busy or not responsive,
- you have an MDM deployed which is blocking traffic.
What are you doing when the error occurs? (Setting up the app for the first time, editing a todo on the device, etc.) Is it intermittent or does it happen consistently?
