Subject: ojdbc jar file location....
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Other
Technical Area: Error Message
Platform: Linux client - RHEL
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: -Reproducibility-

Hi All,

I am using ojdbc14.jar while connecting to an oracle database and the code was working fine. Since yesterday I am receiving error "HTTP JVM: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver"

The jar is placed at the below location in linux environment:

/opt/ibm/lotus/notes/85020/linux/jvm/lib
&
/opt/ibm/lotus/notes/85020/linux/jvm/lib/ext

The design elements that are connecting to oracle are xpages and webservice.

Is the above mentioned location correct? Also is the jar location same for xpages and webservices or does it require the jar to be at specific location?

I think that the JVM is not able to find the jar file.

Please help.

Thanks,
Yusuf
