Thanks for the advice. That was able to get me a little more information to work from.

I verified the MX records for the target domain. I'm not able to telnet to port 25 on their relay servers though. Connection refused.

I did flush the DNS on my domino server. I tried sending again after the flush and the console output provided some new information. The full console text is at the bottom of this message. I'll post a snippet that seems to me to be the key part.

It looks like my domino server starts the tls/ssl session but gets the ssl handshake error: 1C7Bh.
The sending fails with "SSL bad peer certificate".
I renewed our mail servers security certificate about 2 months ago and it works with all other domains we've tested. Could this error indicate a problem with X.com's certificate rather than my own?
