Andre, I appreciate your response, and will try to remember that workaround next time that I have to send an email with a link.
The bigger problem that I face everyday is that users complain of existing Bookmarks and doclinks in other databases that no longer work. (again, because we've replaced most of the servers in the domain).
This includes department mail files that they've had bookmarked for years, help files, Helpdesk database, etc.
Once a user complains it takes time to manually update the bookmarks for that user.
If the client were smart enough to check the catalog, or the bookmark's hint, the problem could easily rectify itself.
