policy config not working - SametimeCommunity2.xml ?

Hi I created an explicit policy (setup and desktop) for myself and did a new notes setup. This still gave the canonical name when trying to login to Sametime after client setup.

I checked the sametime server and found the file SametimeCommunity2.xml
In there I found the following lines:

<SametimeCluster>
<Name>CN=sametimesrv1/OU=AAA/O=Org<Name>
and
<SametimeServer>
<Name>CN=sametimesrv1/OU=AAA/O=Org<Name>

I would like to know if I can change these <Name>values to sametimesrv1.org.com without problem.

Also, the Sametime.ini file contains 2 lines that state the CN= name:
VPS-Name=
SametimeCluster=

Can these be changed to dns hostname without problems ?
