Post 8.5, we will be looking at syncing

When you are in online mode, the google entries are editable and you are actually directly updating your google entries.

You can optionally store your google entries in your mailfile by checking the checkbox view in offline mode in the add calendar dialog, but they are readonly and cant be synced back to google. For post 8.5 we will be looking at syncing to google and other services.

BTW: This is my favorite feature in Notes 8.5 :-)
